Worship and Intercession

Chutzpah comes from a Hebrew word that means to be ballsy or sharp. (Genesis 24:10-25) Issac married Rebekah for her hospitality as well as her chutzpah. Being a bride means putting your full identity in God. Prostitutes seek other idols. Don't go to be served but to serve. Whoever wants to be first will be last and whoever wants to be last will be first. Will you take a few to save some for the rest or will you take a handful and disregard the rest?

Evangelism is meant to be done for the love of God not just the love of people. We all have a hole in our hearts for Jesus and are all searching for love. You can love others without needing them to love you. Get your love from Jesus. Don't rely on others to fulfill you. He brings full fulfillment! Read things as a signpost to recognize unhealthy reactions. Don't pray commands to God but pray about your trust in Him. We are always worshiping something, if not God then what?

Fasting is meant to be voluntarily putting yourself in a position of weakness. It makes you look weird and may make you cranky, but it puts God first. God is not bound to our human systems. You are your body but you are also your soul and your spirit. Fasting is meant to honor God but don't just do it because it's a Holy thing. Don't pray to others when you're meant to be praying to God. Prayers are not meant to be babbled on and on. Words are dirt cheap, add value to them. The power of life and death is in our tongues. Stop with the jokes and sarcasm because even if they understand, there's still a sense of belief where there shouldn't be. Lay down your heart and perspective for God's.

Where have you come from and where are you going? How well do you love others? How well do you accept God's love? Don't try and perfect what you're trying to say. Let it be mumbo jumbo for others to translate because that's what brings community. If they give you a weird look, it means their gears are turning. Lead a non-normal life. Your quiet time determines the quality of your life. Don't judge the way others worship. Do what God asks of you, not what will please others. Delayed obedience is still disobedience.

Worship is agreement with who God is. Intercession is agreement with what God has said He will do. Opposite opinions will open up a greater picture. Don't judge someone's every step, imagine if they knew! Everyone has the light of God inside them, to diminish that is to stop God's plan. I don't have to be the best, I just have to do what God's telling me. Counting the costs should be hard, if it's not then the price isn't high enough. I would give up everything if it meant I gained the Lord.

Missions without prayer would have no fuel. You carry God's manna in dignity and value. People want to listen to you because He made you in His image. Let faith arise and acknowledge that He can be that for you. Love and conflict are not opposite but circular. If you're still breathing you need reminding. The Bible spills over to lift us up and therefore to uplift others as well. Do you want a life full of boredom and confusion or fulfillment? You choose! People will make room for you just like God makes room for you in His kingdom. You are not an interruption, your words need to be heard.

God slows down time. Be zealous for the presence of the Lord. (Romans 10:1-4) To be passionate is to be in love. Look at your lowest moment and see how far God has brought you. When you truly worship, you can do what He asks of you. It's intimacy without shame. God is worthy of our highs and lows. Comparison wrecks happiness, but remembrance repairs it. Give it all to God such as your anger, shame, frustration, tiredness, and embarrassment. Life means nothing without purpose.
