My first week here was powerful. I'm at a base made up of young staff members who have laid down their lives for Jesus. Loren Cunningham, the founder of YWAM, had 'The Vision of the Waves' in 1956, which started this huge movement of young people worldwide on a mission to complete the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20) I am learning to enjoy the Lord. (Romans 12:1-2) For He replaces death with life, sickness with health, and sadness with joy. Therefore, I ask the question, what is on the throne of your heart? Metanoia means that repentance changes the way you think. We aren't designed to live in shame! Teshuvah means 'turn to'. For you've strayed away but may return to God.
The lectures each day have me on the edge of my seat. I'm so intrigued and on fire for God. Then we have worship, and it all becomes surreal in the most amazing way. Worship shows that He is worth having a relationship with. Worth-ship. I'd recommend taking time to read Matthew Ch 5-7. It's super quick with great reminders. You can rely on Jesus to produce conviction, so be genuine. Don't be a hypocrite or an actor. You can sound good, but that's not what the Lord is after. He longs to be revealed to us. Search for God with all your heart and you will find Him. Spending time with God is like training a muscle and gives you a greater capacity to love well.
Not a matter of if you have time but if you prioritize Him. He's open to listening to your disappointments and pains. You walk into the future backward. Your past becomes your testimony. YWAM Queenstown was built off of miracle after miracle. They survived month by month with the help of people outside of the church who wanted to serve. Queenstown is one of the fastest-growing YWAM bases. You can be young and cool and holy. Shut up the voice of the enemy. There is a place for you.

That's beautiful my girl 💓
